The
Grip restraint system is an entirely new approach to the
restraint and transport of prisoners. Using an
encapsulated lock and flexible seatbelt like material, it
has been designed to reduce many of the injuries caused by
steel handcuffs and leg irons. |
Coded cuffs
permit tracking by department or by security level.
Available in hand cuffs, leg irons, and over the boot leg irons. |
Developed by PX:Direct for the US Special
Forces as a replacement for controversial sandbags. Now
used by the military in Iraq and Afghanistan. The capture
blindfold effectively eliminates all vision. Much easier
to carry than painted over goggles.
