RESTRAINT CHAIR

Safely restrains a combative or self destructive person .  Allows for safe transportation to isolation, hospital or court.  Does not restrict normal breathing.  Secures an individual without injury.   Protects your staff and the person being restrained. 

Violent behavior may mask dangerous medical conditions therefore detainees must be monitored for and provided with medical treatment if needed. Detainees should not be left in the Emergency Restraint Chair for more than two hours. The Emergency Restraint Chair should never be used as a means of punishment.  There is a 50 percent restocking charge for the return of this product.

SAFETY RESTRAINT BOARD

Designed in cooperation with and extensive tested by a state Department of Corrections for use with cell extraction, transport and stationary restraint of inmates.  Not an EMT board, but a restraint board designed specifically for securing a restrained subject.

Note: The TranZport Hood should not be used on any person that is unconscious, vomiting, in respiratory distress or obviously needs medical attention. Anyone wearing a hood should be under constant supervision of the responsible parties.

The hood is constructed from heavy Cordura combat nylon.   A lighter weight material is sewn at the bottom of the Capture Hood enclosing a cord with a barrel lock for securing at the neck.

THE TUBE

As used at Ryker's Island, Pelican Bay and other high security facilities and for prisoner transport.  The Tube is a Hand-Containment System designed to completely encase the subject's hands, preventing the grabbing and use of items such as weapons, keys and other contraband.  Each hand is encased in a stiff, reinforced nylon cylinder.  Handcuffs or cuffs from a belly chain lock the tube in place.

THE CUFF AIDE

As used by the U.S. Marshall Service to transport high security prisoners (See them in use in "Convict Air" on the Discovery channel).  Designed to limit prisoner's ability to pick up contraband or weapons . The first picture shows the CUFF-AIDE unfolded. The second picture shows the CUFF-AIDE in use.   The CUFF-AID is made of heavy mesh .  A metal clip, shown in the photographs to the left, fastens to an outside D-ring holding the bag firmly closed.   The CUFF-AIDE can accommodate a belly chain  to keep the prisoner's hands close to the waist.
