PX:Direct opened in 1997. We specialize in the sale of correctional and law enforcement products. We are a small business and proud of the personalized and professional service that we provide. If you are looking for something not shown on our web site, please give us a call. We probably have a source for that product. Also, give us a call if you need an item modified to your specifications. We will do our best to meet your requirements.

Who We Sell To:

The majority of our sales are to law enforcement, corrections, hospitals and the military. We also specialize in working with television, movie and stage productions. We also sell to the public. There is no minimum order requirement – any size order is welcome.

Quantity Pricing:

Most prices shown on our website are for single unit and small quantity purchases. Please call us for larger quantity pricing and for fast quotes on shipping of bulky items such as the restraint chair or restraint beds.

Most orders may be placed on line using our shopping cart. We also welcome telephone orders for all size orders. Orders may also be placed by email.

Some items ordered on our website can not be finalized during the checkout process. These include bulky items where shipping charges must be calculated, larger quantity orders where we will provide a lower shipping cost by phone, international orders, orders to Hawaii or Alaska and orders shipping to PO Boxes or APO addresses. All these orders are welcome; they just need some special attention from our staff. You may complete the checkout process but we will not request or process your credit card until we finalize your order by phone or email.


Please click on “Request A Quote.” Most quotes are provided within one business day. Quotes on modular holding cells may take an additional day. Be sure to provide address information so we can calculate shipping costs.

If you are an existing customer it is not necessary to include address information unless we would be shipping to a different address. Existing customers should provide their name, phone number and email address.

Silk Screening:

Silk screening is available for most uniform pieces. Typically silk screening is used for fairly large quantities to cover the cost of press set up and cleaning.  However we offer a minimum screening charge for one to twelve pieces of $164.00  This is a one color screen in one location.  Additional screens cost between $3.50 and $9.75 per impression, depending on quantity.  Striped uniforms can also be screened.  The process is more expensive because the screen printer needs to lay down a solid block before applying the screen.  This additional charge can be avoided if a high contrast color is used such as bright orange ink on a black and white striped uniform.  Screening takes approximately two weeks.  Depending on backlog the screen printer can offer two or three day turnaround with the payment of a rush charge.  Please call or email PX Direct for a quote.

Purchase Orders:

PX:Direct accepts purchase orders from all federal, state, county or city government agencies. We also accept purchase orders from hospitals. We also verbal orders if you agency does not use purchase orders. For non government orders we require payment with the order. Please call if there are any questions.

Shipping and Handling:

Most orders within the continental United States ship by UPS (United Parcel Service) or Federal Express Ground.  Shipping charges for orders placed through our website are calculated as shipping from our office in Philadelphia, PA. Some orders ship directly from the manufacturer resulting in higher shipping costs. While we absorb those costs for ground shipments, next day and second day air shipping costs can be significantly higher. In those cases we will bill the customer for the additional cost. Please call or email and we will quote expedited costs before you place the order.

We do our best to ship orders within one business day. Orders that ship from a manufacturer sometimes take an additional day to process through the manufacturer. We encourage customers to give us a call or email us if they are selecting expedited shipping where timing is critical.

Shipping charges for larger bulky/heavy orders will be quoted separately. Please call or email us for specifics.

Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and to Canada can also ship by UPS but we need to quote shipping charges.

Shipments to a United States Post Office box or APO address must ship through the Postal Service. There is an additional $10 charge for this as it requires a special trip to the Post Office. There is no additional charge for APO addresses.

International Orders:

By federal regulation restraints can not be shipped overseas without an export license. This holds true for any quantity. The only exceptions are shipments to Mexico, Canada and to the US military and other US agencies overseas. At this time PX Direct is not processing requests for export licenses. Other than restraints, most items can be shipped to international destinations outside of the United States. 

International orders usually ship through the United States Postal Service using International Priority Mail. International Express and international UPS and Federal Express service is also available but considerably more expensive. There is an additional $10 charge for preparing the paperwork required for international shipments.


Sale Items may not be returned or exchanged. Some products, such as underwear, shoes and socks, can not be returned or exchanged.

Modular holding cells, toilets, cell furniture and furnishings, restraint chairs, restraint beds and restraint boards are not returnable under any circumstances. Items damaged in shipment will be repaired or replaced at the option of the manufacturer. Silk-screened uniforms are not returnable. 

Uniforms (if not worn and in their original packaging) and restraints (if not used and in their original packaging) may be returned for exchange within 10 days of the time you receive your order.

There is a 40% restocking charge if uniforms, restraints and other items not referenced in the above paragraph are returned for refund. There is no restocking charge for exchanges. Customer is responsible for safely packing returned items and for shipping charges back to the manufacturer or PX Direct. If an item is exchanged, the customer pays shipping cost both to return the item to PX:Direct and for our shipping the replacement item to the customer.. 

Notify PX:Direct for a return authorization number prior to returning any item to us. Items returned without prior notification may be automatically returned to sender.
